No need to leave your doggy at home at Green End Farm, as all our barns are dog-friendly.
The Cow Barn and The Sheep Shed can accommodate 2 medium-sized dogs. The smaller Stables is suitable for 1 dog. The barns are surrounded by plenty of green space for walks and exercise.
Each barn is equipped with a dog bowl & treats. If they get a bit excited on their walk and are a bit muddy, don’t worry. There is a dog cleaning area at the farm with a hose, shampoo and towels.
Walking
There are many fabulous walks for you and your dog straight from Green End Farm. The local woods and the rail trail from Grosmont to Goathland are on your doorstep. Whitby Beach is just 6 miles away, and at low tide, it’s a haven for dog walkers. We recommend the walk from Whitby’s West Cliff to Sandsend, finishing with a breakfast bap at the dog friendly Tides or Sandside Cafes.
Dog-friendly places to eat
There are some lovely places to eat locally with your dog. Here are a few of our favourites. Most coffee shops and pubs are dog-friendly.
Inn on the Moor in Goathland. A great Sunday lunch option
Sandlers Yard: Dog-friendly area at the front of the restaurant. You can book a table.

Bringing your dog to Green End Farm
There is a £30 cleaning charge for your dog. 2 dogs will be charged at £40. This will be detailed when you make your booking.
